Day 2 – Oct 28: Train to Ueda | Meet community group
Day 3 – Oct 29: Explore Ueda | Meet with local leaders and community members 
Day 4–6 – Oct 30–Nov 1: Cultural Days & Host Family | 25th Anniversary Celebration
Day 7 – Nov 2: Matsumoto Day Trip | Soba Class | Return to Ueda
Day 8–9 – Nov 3–4: Yamanouchi | Sister City Visit | Jigokudani & Shiga Kogen
Day 10–12 – Nov 5–7: Kanazawa & Shirakawa-go | Geiko Visit | Guided Tours
Day 13 – Nov 8: Fukui | Temple Stay
Day 14 – Nov 9: Return to Tokyo | Shopping & Sightseeing
Day 15 – Nov 10: Depart Tokyo / Continue Self-Travel

• Ueda: Homestay (4 nights)

• Yamanouchi / Shibu Onsen: Ryokan (2 nights)

Participation Requirements

• Walking between venues, sightseeing on foot, and using public transportation for several hours daily

• Overseas travel insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuation, and trip interruption/cancellation

• Pre-trip cultural & language study sessions (highly encouraged)

$3995 *Double Occupancy,   $4310 *Single Occupancy 

What's included: All hotels and Temple stay with breakfasts, Homestay with Ueda host family, 10 dinners including  homestay and dinners at Ryokan (Japanese Inn), Ground Transportation (train and bus), planned excursions, experiences & guides

What's NOT included: Airfare between the US and Tokyo, Ground Transportation between Narita/Haneda Airport and Tokyo Hotel, Baggage Handling, luggage forwarding, most of the lunches
