Deven Shaff joined the board of directors in 2026. He has been involved with the Broomfield Sister Cities for many years, most notably he and his family hosted an exchange student from Ueda Japan during the summer of 2024. During that time, he also served on the Broomfield City Council from 2017-2025, also serving as Mayor Pro Tem from 2023-2025. While on Council, he was a supportive voice for the Broomfield Sister Cities programs and organization. He is thrilled to be serving on the board of directors and connecting other community members to the programs and initiatives of the organization.
